When Superior Thread Rolling Company opened its doors in 1952, the thread rolling process was just beginning to gain wide commercial acceptance, especially in the burgeoning aircraft industry. Superior’s founders saw the potential for thread rolled products early on and set out to create a company designed around the thread rolling process. 70 years later, Superior Thread Rolling Company has become an industry leader with full service thread rolling capabilities including: high tensile and hardened materials, complete state-of-the-art precision machining facilities, a quality-focused workforce and management team, AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP certifications.

In 1983, when Tom Mundy bought the company from its original owners, he began a program to modernize and improve the manufacturing processes and customer service.
