Position utilizes knowledge of machine tool capabilities, machinability or materials, shop math, and offsets and editing of programs with minimal help from supervisor. | |

| Responsibilities: | This position is responsible for tool room inventory organization, job kitting, tool purchases, and CNC machine staging. You will prepare all fixtures, cutting tools, and special tooling prior to production. You will also organize the procurement and storage of cutting tools and hardware, and maintain an inventory of all tools, hardware, programs and setup documents. Continuous improvement of the tool room and its operation is required. | |
| Requirements: | • Read routers, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine the tools and fixtures needed to stage the job for production. • Monitor cutting tool inventory using the Tooling Inventory Candy Machine and creates purchase requisitions for low tool inventories. • Maintain up-to-date procedures for the procurement and storage of all setup and production tooling and programs. • Assist the machinists in the setup of machines and jobs by verifying the necessary cutting tools and setup documents are available to the machinists at the time the job is in the READY ZONE. • Perform monthly audits verifying that the tools and setup documents are properly stored. • Verify that each cell is organized and fully utilized, and report progress to manufacturing manager. • Assist machinists in cleaning of machine, tooling, and parts. • Troubleshoot data entry methods and possible sources of error as necessary. • Communicate with co workers, production control and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities. |

| Experience: | Between 2 and 3 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or apprenticeship is preferred. Lean Manufacturing knowledge is advantageous. You must be a very organized and driven individual, with the ability to multi-task. | |

| Responsibilities: | Complete responsibility for accounts payable system including invoice entry, A/P payment entry and check disbursement. Additional responsibilities include: filing of all A/P invoices, primary telephone operator, reception, mail/fax distribution, and various clerical work and administrative detail. This position also calculates and verifies documents to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. | |

| Responsibilities: | Create routers and travelers for thread-rolled parts production using MRP software. This position maintains and updates the master thread rolling time standard files and master method files on a continuing basis. You must have knowledge of thread roll shop practices and be able to calculate time standards for thread rolled parts using both centerless grinders and several types of thread rollers, and work to broad policies and objectives that will require considerable independent judgment and initiative. | |
| Requirements: | • Develop, evaluate and improve thread rolling methods using knowledge of product design, materials, components, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standards. • Analyze and plan set up times, cycle times and tooling requirements for maximum efficiency. • Confer with thread roll shop personnel concerning part design and tooling requirements, manufacturing capabilities and production schedules. • Interface with vendors to determine product specifications and plan for purchases, and write purchase instructions per quality requirements. • Estimate production times and outside processing requirements for management review. • Perform all computer functions relating to thread rolling jobs on the shop floor. • Maintain master files of all thread rolled parts for audit by the quality department. • The job environment involves working on the shop floor, interacting with the thread roll cells and receiving thread roll parts for write-up. |

| Experience: | Between 4 and 10 years of experience in a thread roll shop environment, vocational education, work experience or apprenticeship desired. A college degree is preferred. | |
